My Interests:
Hello, my name is Ethan Waterman, and I am a mechanical engineering student at California State University, Chico. I have a deep passion for design, performance testing, and manufacturing. Whether working in the machine shop to produce parts for my SAE Baja team or designing complex assemblies and pushing them to their performance limits, I thrive in hands-on engineering environments. Outside of my academic and engineering pursuits, I enjoy spending time in nature, rock climbing, and snowboarding. With a strong passion for engineering, I am eager to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in every project I undertake.

Professional Experince:
During my internship at Harris and Bruno International, I gained foundational experience in welding, focusing on both TIG and MIG techniques. I also developed skills in interpreting and understanding technical drawings, marking my first introduction to the manufacturing industry. Collaborating closely with design engineers, I contributed to process improvements that resulted in a 35% increase in production efficiency for a common HVAC order.
